I really enjoy making stuff; I guess that makes me a “maker”?
I currently work in IT for the Navy. I was on active duty from ’86 to ’00, retired from the reserves in ’05. I’ve done software development for a bunch of companies, including CACI, AMN Healthcare, IBM and Microsoft.
Anyway, this blog is about some of my recent projects, mostly built around low-cost micro controllers like the Arduino, tiny computers like the Raspberry Pi, software to do cool things with all of them, and 3D-printing which can be extremely useful for putting these things together.
I’m always looking for new ideas; if you’ve got any suggestions, please let me know via the “Contact” page.
